Information used for membership
For account operation, this member space processes your first name, email address, password credential, email verification state, optional email-update preference, topic selections, saved resource IDs, and submitted request topic, message, status, and date. Passwords should be stored and handled as protected credentials, not readable text.
Cookies and security
Sign-in uses account cookies so the service can recognize an authenticated session and protect account activity. A CSRF token is used with account changes. Your browser must allow the necessary cookies for member access.
How information is used
Account details operate your membership and preferences. A submitted assistance request is available to Vermont Senior Benefits member support for email follow-up about that request only, when you expressly authorize it. It is not automatically sent to licensed professionals, partners, or acquisition leads. A proposed referral requires separate permission after the professional is identified. An email-update preference is stored; it does not mean a newsletter has been published or sent.
Your choices
You can change your email-update preference and topic choices in account preferences. You can opt out of optional email updates there. Resources may link to other organizations; their privacy practices apply when you visit their sites.
Contact and scope
For membership privacy questions, contact contact@vermontseniorbenefits.com. This member space is not affiliated with a government agency. It does not require an insurance purchase. Other site forms collect information under their own separate terms and disclosures.
